trans[*] glocal – Cooperative resources by intrans___

On 26th October 2024, intrans___ hosted trans[*] glocal, a hybrid performative gathering held at the Battersea Arts Centre, London. intrans___ (Intersectional Network for Transglocal Solidarity)was initiated in 2023 by Raju Rage (UK), Nad MA (México), and Kaur Chimuk (India) as a mutual effort to explore their shared inquiries into the future of non-hierarchical, cooperative transmedia exchange.

The trans[*] glocal gathering in 2024 examined practices, languages, and contexts to grow potential new ecologies and alternative presents within intrans___ artists’ local contexts and beyond. Below you can delve into some of the collaborative ongoing resources Raju, Nad and Kaur have developed as a way to share their work, thinking, and tools. Embedded in this is a desire to open up their network to more contributions, so they can continue to weave cooperative knowledges into their work, you’re invited to interact with their network through the links below and in particular their Transglocal Glossaries

As a part of trans[*] glocal, writer Heba Hayek was commissioned to write in response to the gathering, read “How Many Times Must the Phoenix Burn? entries from the rupture below.
